Great Oaks From Little Acorns Grow
As conservationists, we have our eyes on both the present and the future. Our first concern is, what can we do in this moment to build a healthy and resilient environment? Our second concern is, how can we ensure that future generations enjoy the same advantages of healthy air, clean water, fertile soil, and abundant life?
Your generous support and commitment allow Otsego Land Trust to protect and conserve the forests, fields, and waters that frame the quality of life in the Upper Susquehanna region. With your help, we maintain six properties for free public access and enjoyment, partner with private property owners to steward almost 12,000 acres under conservation easements, and tirelessly pursue new opportunities to protect and secure important conservation properties.
We are officially announcing the formation of the Acorn Society at Otsego Land Trust -- a new way to recognize and acknowledge those individuals who have made a commitment to conservation beyond their own lifetime.
When you join the Acorn Society, you join a select group of conservation leaders in leaving a legacy for future generations. If you have already made arrangements for deferred giving to Otsego Land Trust, simply let us know whether you prefer to be named or remain anonymous. If you would like to learn more about how deferred giving might work, please reach out to me and we'll begin a conversation.
