Connecting People with that land that sustains us

Happy New Year from all of us at OLT to all of you and yours!  Do you know what 2018 means for us?  We're turning 30!

Founded in 1988, OLT is embarking on its 30th anniversary.  Over the past three decades, OLT has grown and matured as a professional land conservation organization.  The land trust now employs a team of five full-time passionate and dedicated conservationists who have helped the organization grow into a regional service area covering four counties.

We have partnered with over 100 land owners to protect over 10,500 acres with conservation easements and even now own land of our own - the Blueway: a series of seven parcels along or near waterways, totalling almost 500 acres.  All these Blueway conservation areas are open for public access to really amazing outdoor recreation like hiking, fishing and paddling.  Bring your binoculars or your camera - you won't be disapointed!

As an accredited land trust, OLT holds its land transactions, partnership collaborations and operations to the highest standards possible.  We are so excited to see what we can accomplish this year with you by our side - here's to the next 30!
